This FAQ is property of ME, not you ME (my name's up there if you care) and you cannot claim that it is yours. I give you all permission to use this FAQ on your websites if your little hearts desire, but I would like you to e-mail me telling me you're using it. Don't wait for a reply, just e-mail me your site name and then you can put it up whenever you want. You cannot, though, change anything in this FAQ, because I wrote it and I'm sure you wouldn't like me screwing with your hard work. Another little tidbit, I'm writing this from memory, so don't e-mail me with complaints that I did something wrong, besides, how bad could it be? And about this FAQ, it's a quick run through of the game, so don't expect any big, detailed paragraphs Okey-dokey? Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 3. About the Game Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx If you've ever played a Megaman game (except Megaman Legends or Megaman Soccer), you'll have a basic idea of what this game is all about. Beat 8 bosses, go through a few levels, beat the bosses again, face the Big Boss (No, not the guy from Metal Gear). A few things change in this game though, 1.You can play through as Zero. 2. It's for PSX, not SNES. That's pretty much it, so I'll get started on the strategy rather than yammering on for any longer. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 4. Armors Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx X- Fourth Armor Ultimate Armor Zero- Black Armor Fourth Armor- Legs: In Web Spider's stage. Get to the second waterfall and go down until you see a peculiar hole in the right wall. Go in that hole. Use: you can do an air-dash and air-hover. Head: In Cyber Peacock's level. Get to the end of the third section before the HURRY UP! Symbol goes away to get an "S" rank. Step into the pod to get the armor. Use Soul Body to kill the orb things. Use: You'll have unlimited weapon energy, unless you charge up. Arm: In Storm Owl's stage. Get to the second area. You'll see a hole in the ceiling, use the web weapon to get up and choose your upgrade. Use: One allows you to shoot a lingering Plasma Shot. The other lets you fire 4 rapid Charge Shots. Both let you charge weapons. Body: In Magma Dragoon's level. When you get the Robot Ride, jump onto a cliff hanging from the left ceiling. Break the rocks with the Twin Slasher. Use: Cuts damage in half, allows you to use the Giga Crush attack. Ultimate Armor / Black Armor - see Cheats section. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 5. Weapons Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx X- X-Buster: Basic long-range weapon. It can shoot three sizes of shots. Enhancements are listed in the Armor section. Lightning Web- Shoots a web you can use as a weapon or a temporary wall. Charged, it shoots a big expanding web. Soul Body- Creates a clone of X that stays in front of him and copies his movements. Charged, you can control the clone. Aiming Laser- Creates a crosshair that locks on to enemies, then blasts them. Charged, it's bigger and stronger. Double Cyclone- Releases a little tornado from each side that arcs up. Charged, it lets loose two big tornadoes. Rising Fire- Launches a fireball upward. Charged, X flies up with it. Frost Tower- Makes a big icicle around X (you can still move). Charged, it drops icicles from the ceiling. Ground Hunter- Lets loose a little seeker missile. Charged, it does something else. Twin Slasher-Fires two blades, one arcs up, the other down. Charged, it shoots a big blade. Zero- Raijingeki- Zero stabs with a lightning sword Kuuenzan/Kuuenbu- somersault slash and double jump Rakuhouha- Zero's Giga attack, fires fan of energy bolts Tenkuuha- strengthens Z-saber, allows you to cut small projectiles Ryuenjin- jumps up with a fire sword Hyoretsuzan- downward stab with element of ice Hienkyaku- air dash Shippuga- slash & dash, just like Serge Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 6. Item Locations Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Jungle- Heart Tank- burn up the burnable logs in the last area. Laboratory- Heart Tank- it's in plain sight. Cyber Space- Heart Tank- get an "S" rank in the first area. E Tank- Get an "S" rank in the second area. Air Base- Heart Tank- in the first area, get on the second platform before it's destroyed. Train- Heart Tank- it's just sitting on of the train cars. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 7. Boss Strategies Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Web Spider- use the X-Buster or Twin Slasher. Use the Z-saber with Zero. Dash under him right before he shoots the web to avoid it. Use the air-hover or bounce off the walls to avoid the mini-spiders. Split Mushroom- Hit him repeatedly with the Lightning Web while he's on the wall or when he splits, jump over the clone and hit him. Use Raijingeki with Zero. Cyber Peacock- Use either the Soul Body or Zero's flame sword to finish him off easily. Storm Owl- Use the Aiming Laser or Zero's Giga attack and he probably won't even get to attack. Magma Dragoon (a Reploid with Ken's spirit?)- Bring the Robot Ride into the fight and hit him until it's broken. Alternately, use the Cyclone. Kuuenbu works well. Frost Walrus- Ryuenjin and rising fire work if you can't beat him normally. Jet Stingray- Hyoretsuzan and frost tower as soon as you see him and he'll go down without too much trouble. Slash Beast- Use the Ground Hunter or kuuenbu to beat him quickly. He won't fall down if you don't hit him with GH so prepare for a tough fight if you're Zero. Colonel- Just hit him with whatever and look cool while dodging his attacks. Double- just shoot him and stay low on the wall when he shoots his energy balls. Iris- wait until her crystal comes out and then slash it to death and don't hit the bot. General- Easier with X, shoot him from the other side of the room. With Zero, use kuuenbu whenever you can see an opening. Sigma 1- BURN HIM!!!!! Sigma 2- Use something electric and the Giga attacks. When he throws his scythe, dash under him and hope it hits the wall. Sigma 3- Use kuuenbu on everything, blast the gun shape, and find your own way to hurt the head shape. Learn the statue patterns and dodge them as best you can. Good luck on this guy, even I hardly beat him. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 8. Cheats Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx X's Ultimate Armor- put the cursor on X and press: ( ), ( ), left, left, left, left, left, left, hold L1 and R1 and press start, hold L1 & R1 till the game starts. Anime movies- wait on the title screen for about 10 minutes and the movies will roll. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 9. Credits Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx All credit for this FAQ thingy goes to ME, 'coz I made it all by m'self. Credit for the game goes to Capcom, the second best game company ever, falling only to Nintendo. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 10. Version History Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Version Omega Orange - I changed a few things around, make the layout a bit better, corrected a few mistakes. You know, the usual stuff. Version 200052.48- It's half-assed, but it gets the job done.
