Man of Action
12/20/03 - 6:01AM - Upon the advice of several of my friends, I have decided to start a comic of sorts. Now, before you go gettng all hyped up, it's not going to be very consistent, because I'm like that. I might have one every two weeks or so at best. As for now, I have 4 rough sketches and one ready to scan strip. Everyone who's seen 'em so far thinks they're pretty good, and the best part is that they're 98% true! I can't remember the exact dialogue of some situations, but the events all actually happened. And they might end up sketched or done up in Paint, it all depends on time and how much effort I feel like putting in. I might even have one up by the end of next week. In other news, Christmas is close and you can expect to see what kind of cool stuff I get. Sorry if it's a bit redundant, but it's an easy article and I take 'em where I can get 'em. Speaking of which, I have work to do! Later.

For the Love of 2D
12/19/03 - 12:13AM - Just after I finished up that last post I opened my inbox and found a delightful little pic I drew at school recently. It's total crap, but I decided that I'd like to put it up anyway, just for the sake of being able to make a new post and so I could have a more filled-out gallery. Course, there's some other stuff that shouldn't be there that I could put in there. And who knows, maybe I will. Maybe I will.

I, The Throw Away
12/18/03 - 11:37PM - Sorry about that last post. I just needed someplace to complain about something, no matter how trivial it may have been. I've just been feeling a little like a kid with no cash in a toy store lately, but that's not important. If you haven't visited lately, I just changed the colour scheme in the forums to suit the season a little better. I think it look pretty good, but it's certainly a change from all the dark colours. Other than that, no big progress on anything really. Yesterday I was in bed pretty much all evening, leaving only for a pee break. I think I'm coming down with something. Ah well, at least Christmas is coming soon, that's sure to cheer me up. Later days.

Sort of a Protest Song
12/16/03 - 10:18PM - You wouldn't believe how hard it is to use a PC without a mouse. Sure I can do it, but it takes forever to Tab scroll through all the links on a web page. So as you can guess, my mouse is once again dead. My remote batteries are dead. Nobody else is willing to give up their batteries for the cause. Nobody else wants to go buy any new ones, and there are no other batteries in the house. I hate it. My progress is always impeded by something. If it's not the computer itself, its one of the many peripherals. And What I was in the middle of doing was in Paint, and I can't use the keyboard in paint! It's not like we even kept the old mouse for when this inevitable situation would arise. I'm really not posting for the sake of news, just so I can vent a little. I know I already ranted about this problem in my rant, but it's something that you're never fully rid of. Expecially when it keeps happening and there's no way to fix it until days later. I guess I'm being a bit of a hypocrite here though, as I'm not going out to get the batteries either but I stand by my rage. This is just so infuriating. I've been using my remote's batteries in the thing for the last while and now they're dead and nobody else will sacrifice theirs. Selfish assholes. At least I'm willing to give for the greater cause. But that's enough for now. I guess to justify the news post, I'll reveal that I'm working on a new project, and I'm in the midst of finishing up the MegaMan article and touching up those pics I added to the gallery. Now that it's all said and done, I'm off to play some kind of video game because I can't do anything more productive (site-wise anyway).

After Me
12/15/03 - 1:34AM - I know I should be sleeping, but it's the last week of school and I'm really hyped for the nice long break. So I added a new link. It's a little far from the norm, but it's fun and good for killin' time. That's all. Good night.

Sing for the Day
12/15/03 - 12:02AM - HOLY CRAP!! I was so busy with broken programs and viruses and Mario Kart Double Dash!! that I totally forgot that it's the Page of Death's birthday! Well, it was about 12 days ago. Yeesh! I never imagined that I'd make it as far as I have. Normally I would have gotten bored of it 8 months ago, but it looks like we've persevered. I don't have a ton of content on the site, but people say it's pretty good, and I can't say the forums are bustling, but they might be someday with proper marketing and empty promises of free chocolate. I guess there's not a whole lot I can do to celebrate but invite you to post about it in the forums and maybe count the new Gallery submissions as a present. So, yeah, do that and I'll go whip up a cool new logo pic. Maybe

All Figured Out
12/14/03 - 11:36PM - Thanks to Edwin the tech guy, my computer is back up to running speed and virus-free. For that, I'll give his site a little plug.

So now I'm able to update properly, and woah do I owe a lot. I guess I'll go through old posts and finish stuff I've strated or promised. As long as the MegaMan article didn't get lost in all the virus-busting and reformatting, we're good. Everything is good. Oh, and I updated the Hell out of the Gallery. Check it out.

Masterpiece Conspiracy
12/12/03 - 1:23AM - Due to a virus attack, I won't really be able to do anything with my computer for a while. It got GIMP, my emulators, and a few other things before I could thin out it's numbers. It's still not gone, but it has been weakened severely. Now would be a great time to have a real MegaMan.EXE.

I have the pictures I referred to yesterday on the web now, but I still need to make thumbnails, and I can't do that since I had to put the GIMP to sleep. So, to make up for any inconveniences, here's a really cool pic.

NSFW, so I won't put it in the Gallery. That's all, folks.

Pictures He Drew
12/11/03 - 1:20AM - I've got a new program which I can use in conjunction with Paint to produce any type of graphic file I want. It's called GIMP, and it's pretty cool, but rather complicated. So if I get some time later today (may as well be tomorrow) I'll work on the new pics, or I'll just upload the sketches. Some are a bit inaccurate, but they look pretty good in the end. And the new article can no longer be held off. I think I'll just mix a few pics together rather than creating hardcore pics so that I can post it up faster. So that's what I've got planned for the next couple days. Until my next post, adios!

Viewtiful World
12/08/03 - 10:02PM - I've miscalculated a bit and Paint does work, but it doesn't work with the filetype I'm using at the moment, so I'm still out of luck. As for everythign else, I've got some art to add once that works, and I've got a few Mini-Reviews on the way. Maybe another "chat" with OliverBot too. So there's a lot in the future, it just depends on whether I can manipulate Paint to suit my needs or not. Until then, you'll just have to hold tight, or find me a free web page service that is stable and give more than 20MB of storage space.

Slumber Party
12/06/03 - 12:55AM - It's just me and the puppy for the weekend. Unfortunately, he needs my complete attention at all times, so I've got very little free time. Right now I need to get some sleep, because he wakes up at 6 and I have to get up with him. I promise a real update either tomorrow or Sunday night. Really. I've got big news (as compared to this post).

The Kid is Hot Tonight
12/03/03 - 12:57AM - In a desperate effort to make more than 4 updates this month, I've uploaded another Mini-Review. Sure it's a bit more half-assed than most of you would like, but it gets the job done. Expect that Rebel Strike review in by the end of the week. As for the Paint dilemma, things have taken a turn for the worse, and now my PC is royally farked. Speaking of which, I also added a couple new links, or, I will after I'm done this news post. Time for night-night. Well, almost.

I Ran
12/02/03 - 8:09PM - I knew a puppy would make a big change in my everyday life, but damn, I never expected that I'd get shafted into having to watch him all the time. Jeez. On the other hand, I rented Rebel Strike this weekend, and let me tell you, it's one helluva game. I think I'll do a mini-review... So back to what I originally came to post for. Today I found this video of a speed run of Super Mario Bros 3. Simply amazing. If you want, check out the 100% speed run for Metroid Prime too. I'm awestruck, really. My Metroid game is really going to change now. If only I was as good as people think.

A few links to the SMB3 video.
